KDE4 small toolbar issue

Is anyone having this bug? Some kind of menu item seems to be overlapping the menu toolbar on the left side. This is a default installation of 11.1 KDE4

Have you tried removing and then re-adding.

But I can tell you, the panel and widgets can be a real pain it the A**

Usually, the whole lot goes haywire at 2nd login from install

If you have logged in and out more than 2 times and the panel looks like that, thank your luck stars.

Change your panel to slim-glow (install if necessary) and enable transparency in desktop effects - looks much better

Mine is here

Exactly how do I go about changing my panel to slim glow?

right click desktop
desktop settings
theme

slim-glow will need to be installed
and have you got these repo’s

KDE4 Factory:

Desktop:
Index of /repositories/KDE:/KDE4:/Factory:/Desktop/openSUSE_11.0

Extra:
Index of /repositories/KDE:/KDE4:/Factory:/Extra-Apps/openSUSE_11.0

Will have a try today, wireless doesn’t work in 11.1… :frowning:

I just noticed that this was a graphic and not a bug, 11.1 is so confusing :|… Now I messed up my desktop and can’t get the panel configured anymore, can’t even move the widgets on the panel but I guess this is KDE behavior.

Thanks for the replies
