Is there a way to set up KDE4 Konqueror so that middle click opens a file like in KDE3? In KDE3 Konqueror, middle clicking on a particular file would have the same effect as double clicking on it.
Is there a particular reason why you have chosen not to use single click?
The middle click option was set up as an alternative for people who wanted to use double click as the norm.
If you use single click, it is redundant.
And to answer your question, probably not.
My reason for not using single click is habit.
I did figure out a way to sort of have the same behaviour.
It is possible that this feature will eventually come in KDE4 because there is a lot of work in progress on Konqueror. Go and ask on Index page • KDE Community Forums
