there is one kde effect where the background gets dark and all windows separate, so that one can be selected. I had this effect by accident, but I don’t know how to get it intentionally. It’s very useful. Any ideas ?
“Show Windows” effect.
After enabling is settings, activate with CTRL-F10.
There are other activating options, I usually set it to moving the mouse to the top left corner of the screen. Moderately useful for me.
Ctrl-F10 just as brunomcl already mentioned, but by default, placing your mouse pointer just beyond the top left corner also triggers this effect. I sometimes do this by accident.
