KDE4 4.2 RC1 from KDE4/Factory repo x86_64

The KDE4/Factory packages do not work on my x86_64 system. Plasma crashes and I’m getting an empty desktop, with no interaction possible.

I 've seen a couple of post about this. Filed a bugreport about it in Bugzilla, 468139

Package kdebase4-workspace-4.1.96-179.2 fixes it.

have you tried to remove the 2 plasma files in:
/home/username/.kde4/share/config … and after you reboot.
keep us inform…
