I’m running on an AMD X86_64 with a GeForce6600 card.
Unfortunately I didn’t check the update list too closely. The above seems to indicate that an Xorg component was updated but the kernel module wasn’t.

What is the easiest way to fix this?

How did you install the nvidia driver? You may need to reinstall.

Via YAST straight after the initial install, I had a look at the stuff YAST thinks are installed & it is there. YAST also offers to remove the kernel when I try to uninstall the driver

Some further digging turns up the file
/var/adm/mount/AP_0x00000002/x86_64/nvidia-gfxG02-kmp-desktop-270.41.06_k2.6.37.1_1.2-4.1.x86_64.rpm.new.zypp.QtNLpT
This has the version complained about as being the wrong kernel module. Any idea how I go about changing this?

Problem solved, although YAST showed the 275 module as installed I needed to do an update on it to get the configs right.
