KDE won't start PostFix Mail Transport Agent won't start

I did my usual update yesterday and rebooted. The reboot failed with the message

PostFix Mail Tranport Agent failed to start.

I did an update today and still have the problem. (Thank god for multiple systems).

Any thoughts on how to get my openSUSe system going again?

The error message was:

postfix: fatal: parameter inet_interfaces: no local interface found for ::1

Anybody? I can’t run openSUSE.

How did you perform the upgrade?

sudo zypper dup

inside a terminal window.
