I installed Suse 11.3 a couple days ago. I have been using Ubuntu for the last 2 years and wanted to try something new. Everything has been working great so far except the widgets.
To add a widget, I click the icon on the right of the toolbar, click “Add Widget”, and drag the widget to the desktop. When the widget appears it is stretched to the full width of the display and everything is scrunched vertically. A screenshot of the problem is below. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Try right clicking on the Desktop then choosing Add widget. It will still show up in the bottom, but maybe there’s a difference between doing it from the toolbar and doing it from the desktop? Just throwing ideas out haha. Also do you have any special settings like dual monitors or anything like that?
Take Care,
Ian
Thanks for the reply. I’m not sure what was wrong, but I fixed the problem. I deleted the folder .kde4 from my home directory and restarted. Now I can finally enjoy the bouncing red ball widget.
