KDE Wallet Manager unknown password

Hi,

I’ve never used KDE Wallet Manager, but today I went into it and it asked for a password? As I’ve never used it I didn’t know what it was. I tried my logon and root passwords with no avail.

Anyone any ideas? I haven’t stored any passwords in it so if I can reset it that would be ok.

If you don’t recall setting a password, then you could try leaving the password field blank, see if that works. If not, you can delete ~/.kde4/share/apps/kwallet to get rid of the kwallet profile. If you use kde3, then it’ll be under ~/.kde/share/apps/kwallet.
