KDE shutdown problem

hello,

please help me, in KDE I don’t have the shutdown option
any more after a new login and startx.
I only can leave the current session.
How can I change this into the former state ?

Same problem here going to have a google later. Don’t want to spend Friday evening debugging KDE

Geoff

Hi
Shouldn’t that be in personal settings -> login manager?

The button is there but the only option that works is lock. Same if i right click on the desktop and choose leave. Also noticed that there is no longer an option to choose how to reboot on the login screen. Before there was a dropdown option.

Just to clarify see attached pic

Hey I’m having the same problem, exactly as the image describes.

If it helps… I first installed GNOME as my primary manager and then I installed KDE 3.5 + 4.1 could that have caused the problem?
