i updated my video drivers with the nvidia ones in the repo, after that
two things happened, my taskbar got reversed and i lost my desktop
container and cant seem to get it back.
tried putting it back with the kde app and nothing shows, any ideas?

If you right click on the desktop, it will bring a menu with Desktop
settings. You can change the “Type” (there are 3). One of them
will show the icons on screen.

tried that, i can get the folder view fine, but the normal desktop with
the icons is a no-go
