KDE Print Dialogue shows remote printer twice.

Don’t know if this is a bug per se, or an error in the way I have printing set up.

I have a host PC (TW 0810 CUPS 2.2.3) to which is connected an elderly(!) HP DeskJet 710c via the parallel port.

On this PC the (yast) Printer settings are:

Share Printers
Allow Remote Access
For computers within the local network
Publish printers within the local network

On a second PC (Leap 42.3 CUPS 1.7.5) the Printer settings are:

Print via Network
Accept Printer Announcements from CUPS Servers
accept all announcements from anywhere

This works OK with the exception that in KDE print dialogues, the printer appears twice.

I’m guessing this may(?) be due to “Add-remote-print-queue-support.patch” applied to “libqt5-qtbase” ( https://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-factory/2017-06/msg00391.html ), but may be, and probably am, completely wrong

If on the client PC I disable “Accept Printer Announcements from CUPS Servers”, the the KDE print dialogue only shows one entry for the printer, but… the printer then isn’t accessible from non-KDE applications, Libre Office, for example.

Yes… “Add-remote-print-queue-support.patch”

If I prevent KDE/Qt from doing it’s own printer discovery, (by setting the environment variable “QT_DISABLE_PRINTER_DISCOVERY=1”) then the remote printer only appears once.
