KDE Plasma digiKam 9.1.0 was released on 7th June 2026

The KDE News Feed and the digiKam team announced the release of version 9.1.0 more than 2 weeks ago.
In the openSUSE Build Service, there’s no sign of a request to build this new version: <https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/KDE:Extra/digikam>

Does anyone know if there’s a reason for this delay?

I’d like to echo this question, as I was wondering about the exact same thing a few days ago. From what I recall, version 9.0.0 appeared a few days after the official developer release.

AFAIKS, the service runs (part of the reproducible builds Framework?) are executing without any issues being raised but, I can’t see a request to build the digiKam version 9.1.0 release … :smiling_imp:

No one has branched the package to update and submit…
