What is wrong with the openSUSE provided YaST partition module?
first I remember that it hasn’t a progression bar when is formatting so I don’t know when the format procedure is finished
second it doesn’t format to exfat
I tried gparted and it seems to works better, so I would like to try kde partitionmanager but at first glance gparted seems bettere
partitionmanager has a nice and slick gui, IMHO.
I have no idea which"partitionmanager" you mean here, but I only asked because for an openSUSE system manager, YaST seems to be the most logical to use. Thus when someone wants to use something else for a specific function, I am curious. I have even no idea what this Gnome tool is good for, or looks like, because I do not use Gnome. I am satisfied with the answer of the OP, things that are interesting to know.
It’s KDE tool. " KDE partitionmanager".
Oh sorry. I have BTW no idea why any Desktop Environment suite should have a partition manager.
I have it in xfce so not exclusively just for KDE.
Because they can.
KDE partition manager is better for me than GParted.
Also using GNOME Disks sometimes - in KDE DE.
