KDE Okular can't display the Print Preview of a PDF file

In addition to the post “After Upgrade to 15.1 okular displays postscript as text unless you import it as pdf” <https://forums.opensuse.org/showthread.php/536106-After-Upgrade-to-15-1-okular-displays-postscript-as-text-unless-you-import-it-as-pdf>:

  • Please be aware that, currently, with Leap 15.1, KDE Okular can’t display the Print Preview of PDF files unless, the package “okular-spectre” is installed.
  • Curiously, if you open an OpenOffice/LibreOffice Writer (.odt) file with Okular, the Print Preview works, with or without the “okular-spectre” package …
  • There is an open openSUSE Bug Report dealing with this issue: “Bug 1122797: okular: removal of ghostscript support” <https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1122797>.
