Kde Notes

I am using Leap 15 and tried to use the widget notes, like sticky notes.
Is it possible to use the knotes from opensuse 12.3 as it was far more flexible and superior to the version currently in leap 15.
There are no different fonts, font sizes or font colours, themes and the resize bar on the side does not open most of the time.
So is there a way to please use an earlier version of knotes, cause the current version sucks.

I’m using Tomboy Notes with leap 15/plasma. It’s a gnome app, and I don’t think it’s supported anymore, but suits my needs so I just keep using it. It’s not in the official repositories but is available from a couple community member repositories. Now, my needs may be different that yours. I don’t plaster my desktop with notes. I like that it can be made to sit in my system tray and where I can grab a note from the stack when I need it.

AFAICS, the only current KDE Plasma Notes are the Notes integrated into the Kontact suite …

It seems that, you’re meaning the “Notes” applet of the Plasma Desktop – yes, as you have noted, it’s “difficult” and, managing more than one “note” is not exactly the “flavour of the month” …

The current “KNotes” integrated into Kontact (same developers … ) allows more than one “note” within the Kontact environment and, if the “Rich Text” option is checked then, different (within a single given note) fonts, sizes, colours, bold, italic, automatic indent, indent, underline, strike-through, and so-on and so-on, are as for most “Office” applications – the only thing I haven’t discovered are “pro” font things such as “Demi” and “ExtraBold” …
