KDE Menu No Back Buttons

openSUSE 12.1 (x86_64)
KDE: 4.7.2 (4.7.2) “release 5”

I have installed 12.1 on two i586 machines and one x86_64 machine and none of them had back buttons on the Kickoff Launcher menu why? It was nice to be able to click back on the menu instead of having to start over. I searched for a fix but found none. Anybody have a fix for this? The only cure I found was switching to the Classic menu.

This is by design
You use the breadcrumb trail along the top of the kicker now

Is this on a reused /home? What happens if you create a new user, login as that user? I’ll logon to KDE now and see what it looks like on my KDE.

Thanks Stupid me never noticed it.

I wonder who came up with that ‘improvement’.

I miss this button too. With this “update”, the Alt+{Left,Right}arrow
stopped working …
