KDE looks like Windows Ten Years Ago!

Spurred by this thread, I looked in “/opt” and to my surprise, it was not empty. There’s a “kde3” directory there, apparently installed as part of “kdelibs3-default-style”. I suppose that was installed as a dependency of something, though I don’t know what.

Google Earth? I think it depends on lsb, which installs qt3. It also recommends kdelibs3-default-style.

I have also noticed that chrome seems to also drag in lsb and or kb3 something or other.

Yes, probably. Glad you posted that, as my 12.2 /opt is totally empty. So that should mean KDE3 is finally extinct here! :good:

Hmm, unless I install google earth or chrome…
