I don’t know who to give this message to, so I hope this post will be read by the right people.
This message goes to the maintainers of the OpenSuse 12.1 KDE 4.9 repository (yest 12.1 not 12.2).
KDE 4.9.3 has been available for some days now, but still there is 1 package that has not been built for it.
kdm-branding-openSUSE
I cannot upgrade because this package is not compatible with KDE 4.9.3. Since it isn’t compatible it wants to uninstall it and instead install kde-branding-upstream.
I have tried to refresh all package repositories. I have OpenSUSE 12.2 on my work computer and this problem is not on that repository, but I don’t want to upgrade my server yet.

It looks like the build failed.
This is the last information about this on the mailing list:
‘Re: [opensuse-kde] KDE 4.9.3 packages available in KDE:Release:49’
(http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-kde/2012-11/msg00028.html)
That was several days ago, and it still haven’t been resolved.
Hi
Check the ‘users’ page on OBS;
https://build.opensuse.org/package/users?package=branding-openSUSE_12.1&project=KDE%3ARelease%3A49
On that List I would email the person who is also the bug owner, or
jump on the opensuse kde IRC channel or mailing list for someone to
look at;
