Dear all,
I was using 12 months now opensuse 11.3 and kde device notifier was always working.
After upgrading to 11.4 the device notifier never mounted an external usb drive.
When I plug in the device is recognized by device notifier (applet) and I press open with dolphin…
Mounting never is done neither dolphin ever appears.
what can I try? I have not change any settings so far.

Is it a NTFS formatted drive? My backup drive, which is
formatted NTFS showed the same behaviour. I could only mount
it from a terminal (as root) with the command:
> mount -t ntfs /dev/sdc1 /mnt
The /dev/sdc1 name is dependent on your setup, you can find
out through Dolphin.
Unmount using
>umount /dev/sdc1

It is fat32 drive 
and the same happens to my other computer. I have two computers one laptop and one desktop and after I have upgraded them both device notifier has stopped mouninting disks and optical media!
what else can I try? ( tried this one but failed)
Is ‘udisks’ installed? Check with
zypper se -s udisks
