On my Lenovo T410 (openSUSE 11.4 KDE - 64bit) I have mobile broadband. Gobi-loader is installed and working properly.
However when I try to setup mobile broadband connection the KDE Control Module crashes. Tried many times also after reboots, though KDE Control Module keeps crashing.
Anyone any idea how I can fix this?
Thank you very much in advance
up for this post. i’m having the same problem. never encountered this problem with 11.3
I did a second install, now openSUSE 11.4 KDE from DVD. Interesting to see that DVD version installs knetworkmanager, the live KDE CD installs plasmoid-networkmanagement instead.
With knetworkmanager I do not have a problem creating Mobile Broadband connection. Does anyone have an idea how I can start Mobile Broadband with knetworkmanager?

Cause provider database is missing. Set package ‘mobile-broadband-provider-info’ from here and have a lot of fun rotfl!. But I used Fedora 14 x64DVD.iso as local repos.
The provider-db is installed,
