Hi
I’m using openSuse 11.0, 32-bit and KDE 3.5.
I’ve a simple problem, but it’s very annoying. I want to change my desktop background colour. I can do this via the KDE control centre. However, when I apply my changes, nothing happens.
Further, when I go back into the control centre, it shows my changes as I made them - although it won’t apply them to the desktop!
Any suggestions?
OK - this is really weird. I’ve just tried again and it has worked! This hasn’t been the case for the last month!
Really confused now!

Ah I see you are using the new improved psychic KDE which depends on the
alternate space time continuumuummum packages, it will not let you do things
to the system until it knows you are going to ask for help from these here
fora.
