KDE apps fails to start after update

Hi.

Since updating a few days ago I cannot start dolphin, digikam and a lot of other KDE apps any more. The error message from Dolphin is

dolphin: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib64/libkdeinit4_dolphin.so: undefined symbol: _ZN6Phonon11VideoPlayer5eventEP6QEvent

The versions are openSUSE 11.3 (64-bit) and KDE 4.6.

Any thoughts?

Try this on the 4.6 repo

If that fails, try a new user account, see if it’s the same

While waiting for an answer to my post, thats exactly what I did and you’re right; it did fix the problem. Thanks for the answer anyway.
