Kde and Gnome aplicantions.

I want to know if i can install prograns of gnome in KDE or otherwise.

Gnome have a good editor called Gedit, this program can recognize php, html… and he works using tabs, and i believe that surpasses the Kwrite.
This it’s one of the examples.

Can i run Suse with this two desktops? In One instalation?

Yes, you can.

For editing purposes I suggest Kate on KDE4, it does what you need and more.

When autologin is disabled (IMHO it should be anyway), your system boots into a login screen. You can select your desktop there. Logout, select an other, login and that’s it.

Another thing… In the Gnome i can use scripts in files to extract photos for example, i can use this scirpts in the KDE?

And another thing, anyone know an program that speak text? “TextToSpeech” for linux?

to add Gedit, just open YaST go Software Management, search for gedit,
select it for install and press “Accept”…very soon YaST will present
a rather long list of “dependencies” (which in this case is the
basic foundation of Gnome which are required to run gedit–when/if
you ever add other Gnome applications all those basics will have
already been installed, and that load won’t be repeated)

HOWEVER, if you find Kwrite too rudimentary (it is designed that way)
and need a hacker-level editor, give Kate a look (it may be default
installed i don’t know, try):

Alt+F2 type in kate and hit enter

Hi
You might want to look at medit (mooedit)
http://mooedit.sourceforge.net/ I’ve just packaged up the latest
version 0.10.0 here;

Yes, there is. mbrola is the one I use. There is no rpm package for it as far as I know. You have to google for it. Then there is eSpeak and Festival. The choice is yours.

the bash scripts you use in Gnome should work in KDE, XFCE, LXDE and
all other DEs on your machine…AND they will probably work in Red
Hat, Debian, etc etc etc …
