hi all
how to install kde5 on opensuse 13.2 ?
The same as in Factory, as 13.2 is still Factory.
And that’s similar to 13.1, except that you don’t need any additional repo, as the currently latest version is included already in Factory/13.2.
Just install plasma5-session and you have it, but that will remove KDE4 of course.
My repo is available for Factory as well though, so if you add that and install the packages from there, you can keep KDE4.
To use my repo on Factory, use this URL:
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/wolfi323:/branches:/KDE:/Frameworks5/openSUSE_Factory/
I will publish my repo for 13.2 when it is released (or earlier) of course, but at the moment this is not possible, as there is no 13.2 yet.
The Factory variant works fine with 13.2 Beta1 though.
thanks wolfi

Ok ,
I will wait Open Susie 13.2 “stable”
Please, how is relationship between your repo and these mentioned here https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:KDE_repositories#KDE_Frameworks_5_.26_Plasma_5?
My repo contains Plasma 5 packages that are co-installable with KDE4, because they install to /opt/kf5/.
The official Plasma 5 packages conflict with KDE4.
The packages are just branched from KDE:Frameworks5 and are essentially the same, I just make changes that are necessary for them to work from /opt/kf5/ and not conflict with KDE4.
In addition I added some KF5 applications like Kate/Kwrite, dolphin, gwenview, … to my repo. But those have not been released yet and are unstable git snapshots taken from KDE:Unstable:Frameworks. I plan to switch them to the stable versions from KDE:Frameworks5 as soon as they are available there. And again, my packages of those do not conflict with their KDE4 counterparts, so you do not have to replace the stable KDE4 applications.
You still need the official Qt5 and KDE:Frameworks5 repos though, because my repo only contains the packages that really conflict with KDE4 packages. The actual Qt5 and Frameworks libraries are not contained and are needed from the official repos.
