KDE 4.6 RC1

I have a problem with Adobe Flash in both konqueror and rekonq in KDE 4.6 RC1 while it worked perfectly in 4.6 Beta2:
(<unknown>:7789): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_window_get_origin: assertion GDK_IS_WINDOW (window)' failed (<unknown>:7789): Gdk-WARNING **: gdkdrawable-x11.c:952 drawable is not a pixmap or window (<unknown>:7789): Gdk-WARNING **: GdkWindow 0x4600003 unexpectedly destroyed (<unknown>:7789): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_window_get_origin: assertion GDK_IS_WINDOW (window)’ failed

Anyone having the same problem?

I can confirm this problem with Kde removing some sound devices and i’m on ArchLinux.
strange… i havn’t found a way to fix it in arch yet…

edit. My problem was solved when I installed “phonon-xine” and used that backend for all sound instead of xine

The issue is with phonon-xine in this build.

Just install phonon-vlc (for example) and set your multimedia preferences to use that instead and all will be well.

I didn’t even have phonon-xine when I got these errors with removing sound devices in kde. The default was Gstreamer… somehow my sound returned when i chose phonon-xine instead after having to install it

i reinstalled alsa-firmware and it fixed my problem

Didn’t work for me.

Still no external device detected (USB, eSATA, battery).

I have noticed in 4.6 RC1 they have fixed the issue when the same hard drive would show up twice in My Computer in Konqueror

I still have this in 11.4 Factory

I am running 11.3 here. Haven’t tried it on 11.4 Factory yet. Heres a screenshot:

Here you are

Carl, is not that beta 2?

It is indeed.
I know…
This thread is RC1

Let me see if I can update it

Here we are. You guys are correct

Udisks to mount devices. Still no battery.
