hi… as kde 4.5 change notification area icons there are some that still show on color… does anyone know where is the folder with those new icons so i can add more there and override the ones that still show in color???

I am not sure, where is the icons folder. But you can grey it out in Configure Desktop -> Application Appearance -> Icons (Advanced tab) -> Panel , and then choose grey for default using set effects button under it. Try it out.
