Hello,
I have upgraded from KDE4.5.0 to 4.5.3 and no icons are in systray. Only Info (i) and device notifications. Kopete, Volume etc. are missing and there is no way (known to me) how to repair it. Also the white arrow for extension and hidden icons is not there.

Try creating a new user login
Does it have the same problem?
No change.
Also I have tried to delete ~/.kde4/share/config/plasma-desktop-appletsrc - no change.
I have found out that Opera appears there but I had it in 4.5.0 like hidden icon and now is visible but no other applications…
Also If I get a message from Kopete no icon appears…

OK, I changed the repos and reinstall to offered version of KDE 4.5.3…
Normally I would do this

On kde45 and extra
But because you also have Updated apps, you will need to do the same there last, because it has newer packages than the base kde45
So I reinstalled it and it works! Great. Thank you.
So do you recommend me to delete Updated Apps from repositories?
