But KDE is stuck at 4.3.1. I didn’t care so much when it didn’t upgrade to 4.3.5, but now I really want to run 4.4. Any ideas on why it’s stuck?

Did you do this
ImageBam - Fast, Free Image Hosting and Photo Sharing
If it still fails, I need to see
zypper lr -d
Well, I don’t remember seeing that option, but perhaps I missed it. In any case, I suddenly remembered One-Click KDE install and I tried that.
And I had to select "Install #### pacakge (vendor change) many times, so that seems to be along the lines of your suggestion. So right now 4.4 seems to be installing nicely. Thanks for your reply!

Change priority setting from 99 to 10
Log out and the select console login. Once logged in, type:
sudo zypper dup
Cheers!

Please do NOT change the priority. It is not needed in 11.2
The system package switcher should be used as in the picture I posted. Or use *zypper dup
