KDE 4.2 Right click problem

I installed kde 4.2 this morning, all seems to be going fine except now when I right click on my desktop I don’t get the menu. I can’t add widgets, change my wallpaper ect. Any ideas?

OK, I think I have figured out my problem, witch adds another problem. My plasma-dashboard is covering the whole screen, and I can resize it

I’m having the same problem. Nothing happens when I right-click on the desktop.

I had an almost similar problem - I could get wallpaper/icons on only one desktop. Someone helpfully pointed out a plasmarc setting called perVirtualDesktopViews. I reset it to false and got icons and wallpaper on all four desktops.

I had this problem also, however, it has since gone away.
Try updating, there have been two rather large updates over the
last several days and I believe one of them may have fixed that specific
issue.
