KDE 4.2 "Fluffybunny"

Anyone else tried out the fluffybunny KDE plasmoid theme? Was quite surprised after applying it

If you didn’t and have the unstable KDE community repository enabled,
zypper install plasma-theme-fluffy-bunny

Thought it was hilarious and it peeked my interest as it’s the first plasmoid theme I’ve seen that doesn’t use some sort of gradient or solid color but actually an image… so I wonder what we can expect in the future?

If you know of any other themes using textures instead of gradients or solid colors please mention them… I’m curious as to how much they can do with it.

See the last link in my signature for a 1280x720 h264 encoded mkv of some plasmoids etc with Fluffybunny applied.

Did some looking around and the only thing I could find so far is: A Pimp Named Slickback (for the contest) KDE-Look.org … which is quite awful

And some more info on fluffybunny. Seems like it’s in the factory repository as well btw, so need for unstable.

Wow! This theme will be excellent for my niece, who’s very much into both animation and anything pink right now. I’ve previously themed her Firefox and other settings in pink styles but a whole desktop like it will blow her away!

Axeia, how about creating your own Plasma theme by following this?

I’m more of a programmer than a fancy graphics type of person.
Think the prey demo site is a good example of what happens when you let people like me design something

Not to mention it would take too much time as I still got some work in java/sqlite to do, which I’ve been avoiding as it is annoying the hell out of me.

Hey cool site! You can actually read it, and there’s no blinking distractions :open_mouth:
