You already have the correct repos
Just change the priority on your Update to 99, like the rest. You have more than one, the last in the list is set to 20
Then do update all unconditionally in the 42 desktop and community repo’s
You don’t really need the QT44 repo (I’m not using it)

IMO you have too many repo’s for your experience level.

how do i KDE now?

I mean to say, how do I upgrade KDE now. I used a 1 click install last time. :shame:

Hello,

if you have activated the opensuse update repository many packages are marked red and you can’t use the “update if newer version is avaible” (or similar, I’am using the german version) function for all packages and have to click many packages manually.
The best way is to inactivate the opensuse update repository, then choose your KDE 4.2 repository using “filter”/“installation source” and click “update if never version is avaible” (it’s located under “package”/“all in this list”. Later on, you can activate the opensuse update repository again.

Good luck

Michael

Thanks,

I hope it works. I told most of the stuff to update. It looks like its working. I’m crossing my fingers. How would i know for sure? Its 250+ MBs to download at 2 Mbps connection. Will take some time

Thanks guys. It worked
