KDE 4.2.2 system tray

Hello,

I have a question regarding system tray widget: When I run an application and it went down to system tray (skype or goldendict for instance) it remains there after reboot. I mean it starts automatically after reboot by the system tray widget. How to prevent this behavior? I would like the system tray to not run anything until an application itself is configured to start after reboot automatically.

Thanks.

Haven’t tried this - but may be under Configure Desktop -> Advanced -> Session Manager. Try setting “On Login” to “Start with an Empty Session”.

try setting “Start with an empty session” in KDE control center -> Advanced -> Session manager
