Kde 4.2.1 now problem with oxygen menu bar!

openSUSE 11.1, KDE 4.1 installed with 4.2.1 update.

Since the updates last Wednesday my main menu bar has reverted to that turquoise colour (it’s normally a nice see-through-black colour) and is no longer see-through.

Plus each time I login, the desktop effects are disabled. I use the kwin-effects-switch plasmoid and it works perfectly, but for some reason the effects are always turned off by default.

I have all updates as of today installed and applied, and I use the nvidia driver from the repo.

GL is running because all the windows go transparent when moving, the shadows work, and I can set windows to be transparent.

Any ideas why?

Hmm, afer a shutdown and restart all is now back to normal.

I didn’t reboot after this morning’s updates, only logged out and back in again.

Sorry for wasting thread space!
