KDE 4.1 Desktop Icons

Hi,

KDE4.1 desktop icons are slightly baffling to me… I would like them to be arranged in some order other than all on top of each other which seems to be the default. I can’t seem to find any option to sort them, or arrange them in a certain order. Also, when I log in, it has forgotten my previous icon layout…

Any ideas?

You may find the easiest solution is to upgrade to 4.2 where this problem has been sorted - but in a quite different way to that in KDE3.
