Opps, too late for me.
I did find that Kopete 3.5 works allot better then 4.x.

I’m still a newbie to linux as much as I would like to lose that title. I haven’t seen too much of XP lately as everything fun is on openSUSE now, except for my video games. If I can find out how to run Heroes Of Might and Magic 2-5 on linux, I could dump XP for good.

I’m such a sucker for betas and “cutting edge” software. Maybe because I like saying “WTF” allot. Hehe

I would agree 4.0. was not good.

But most of us have moved on from there and it’s looking great.

As for kopete: I run the kde4 version and it’s perfect, well you know!

Yea, 4.0 was never all that stable. You can grab 4.1 from one of the kde4 repos under the yast community repo list (I think kde4 community) - just hit Add from the yast repo manager and choose community repositories.
