I have KDE menu crashes. It is reproducible. Click on the lizard icon type stuff in the text box. As it searches move mouse in and out of the menu. The panel app crashes every like 10 times.
Any workarounds?
I have the same problem. I click the lizard, move the mouse to the middle of the menu to avoid leaving the search results upon mouseover of the submenus, type “yast” in the search field, and the entire kicker reloads and a crash notification pops up. After several attempts in the same way, the kicker doesn’t reload and I have to ctrl-alt-backspace to reload kde.
I’m using opensuse 11.0:
