KDE 3.5.10 in Build Service today

I just had the kde 3 upgrade to 3.5.10…

As you would expect with this solid desktop, all is just fine.

I’ve just installed KDE 3.5.10 successfully too. I’ll stick with KDE 3.5.10 for regular use and I’ll use KDE 4.x for testing purposes. It was a large download, but the wait of a few minutes worth.

I use kde 4.1 all the time now, kde 3 is just a fall-back.

ditto here to loving 4.1

I just wiped my system after trying to update KDE 4.4 to 4.5. As much as I like the whole idea of “Activities”… KDE 4.5 still isn’t as good as KDE 3.5.

I’m actually happy that I can run KDE 3.5 with OpenSuSE 11.3 now. I almost gave up on OpenSuSE because of the KDE 3.5 vs. 4.x debate.

KDE 4.5 is no where close to being as “useful” as KDE 3.5. I “make” myself run KDE 4.x on two notebook computers to assist the process of assimilation which the BORG seem to be intent upon. Unfortunately… KDE 4.4 and 4.5… just doesn’t cust the mustard where I need it.
