kaudiocreator for 11.3?

Of the cd ripping apps that were on openSUSE 11.1 I liked kaudiocreator the most. I had to add a special repository to install it in 11.2, and it seems to not be available in any 11.3 repositories. Why is it not included when it’s part of KDE 4? Is there a repository for 11.3 with it that I’m unaware of?

I do not know why it is not in the standard repositories but it is available
at the build service. You need to include the home projects in your search.

openSUSE 11.2 64 bit | Intel Core2 Quad Q8300@2.50GHz | Gnome 2.28 | GeForce
9600 GT | 4GB Ram
openSUSE 11.3 64 bit | Intel Core2 Duo T9300@2.50GHz | Gnome 2.30 | Quadro
FX 3600M | 4GB Ram

Kaudiocreator appears not to be available via the openSUSE Build Service as searches return no results. However the OP may like to try Audex which is avery good replacement and is available from the openSUSE Build Service.

Audex search.

I also did not find it in the build service. I’ll try Audex, but I kaudiocreator was perfect and did everything I wanted, so I’m still hoping someone will add it to a repository somewhere. I’m really surprised it’s not there since its part of KDE. Also, is there a way to subscribe to a thread? I didn’t know anyone replied since I received no email notifications, but I don’t see a way to activate email notifications.

Thank you for your help.

AFAIK the facilities provided by kaudiocreator have now been merged into K3b.
