Kalpa online installation

Hi friends,

I not qiut sure how online installation works and bandwith is need to do that?

Ok we have DSL or kabel but there is no real input how it works.
How long it takes to do that?

Well is there any utility to create a image out the finished installation and how about time for free use any lincense needed later on after testing. In the past you used one license for 5 systems how about now.

All the best

Thomas

That will depend on your network speed.

The installer asks you to agree to the license. That’s all you need.

I just installed Kalpa in a VM and the 3GB image is not that much. It is a bare system selection to start with. Can’t go wrong with the offline option.

Hi there thanks for info.

How memory is need for VM 8 GB or even more ok VM is for professtionals what your suggestion?

All the best

Thomas

As the VM is just for testing purposes I went with the minimum requirements. Those settings appear enough for what I’m doing with this VM. You can go all in off course and allocate as much memory and disk space as you desire.

Hi there,

how much bandwith is need for the online installtion?

Do you plan factory mode for resellers ?

on Kalpa the VGA standby isse is fixed as saw. So VM will not on Kalpa or when its working?

Do you have download for opensuse 16.0 and 16.1 for standby issue I hope MS have this already.

Have anice day

That has already been handled. i.e. impossible to say. Depends on your bandwidth, concurrent streaming services on your network etc.

Hug? “Factory” is just a stage in development, not some manufacturing place. openSUSE has no “resellers”.

That is not a Kalpa issue, VMs by default are like that.

I have no idea what this is about. And absolutely not where MS comes in/
