I am getting the following error after k9copy reads the complete dvd, and when it is ready to burn a dvd or create the iso image.
The error is as follows:
“An error occurred while Burning DVD: mkisofs: Volume ID string too long”
“Insert an other DVD”
Any ideas on the cause?
Thanks

What happens when you restrict the volume name?
The interesting thing was tonight I ran the yast software update and their were two patches that were listed but not checked. One of them were related to iso image names lengths. So installed and then tried k9copy and the problems was resolved.
I was able to create the iso image and burn a new dvd from the image. Now when I try to play the dvd with kaffeine I first received the message there were limited codecs. I followed the links and installed libxine1 as recommended, and now when I try to play the copy or the orginal dvd I just get a blue screen, no video. I tried the copied dvd on my dvd player attached to the tv and it works just fine. I must be missing something, but I am not sure what.
I am getting closer.
