I just downloaded the SUSEopen 11.4 and am trying it for the first time. I am new at this so bare with me if i don’t know what i am doing. I installed the k3b application but when i try to use it, it keeps coming up that i can not do mp3 nor dvds. could any on help me on this matter?
For you newbies . If you are not going to mess with mp3 or dvd’s , There is nothing wrong with the way it is. The pop up is just to tell you that.

There is quit a lot of software that maybe useful to you, One way or another.
Set you Packman repo in Yast .
Open Yast then software repositories, Look to see if packman is listed, if not move on below., if so click Abort and go to software management.
Once opened click on add.
pick community Repo, click next
pick packman repo, clink OK.
It will return to main window when finished, click OK.
Yast ,software management
once opened, click on View in upper left. pick Repositories, then click on packman.
scroll through the software on the right, to see what interest you. you can high lite it and will give you some idea what it is on the bottom. or note the name and goggle it to fine out more about it. There is a lot of neat software .
