When I want to write iso image (of ubuntu), it finish, then I insert the CD and the computer don’t recognize it! It don’t boot, and i don’t see the in file mngr.
Please help me how to fix this =)
Your are probably added the iso image to the disk. You should write the content of the ISO image to the disk.
Start K3b, Tools > Burn CD/DVD image.

But surely then @ram88 it would see it as a data disc? Or am I missing something
If this is a new install: Make sure your system is updated too
zypper ref
zypper up
I think that the .iso image is written to the disk and the structure is:
+ DISC0
| - ubuntu-9.04-desktop-i386.iso
.
Then it is a data disc but isn’t bootable.

Was it built as a bootable iso image? I have made that mistake. I
have also written the .iso as a file (loopback can verify this).
