Just popping in to say hello. I’m looking to move my main Windows PC over to OpenSUSE tonight with the release of 11.3. I currently have Debian running on a separate hard disk, however would like to use Linux full time on my desktop providing I can get my ATI 5850 working under it.

I do still have a few Windows programs I don’t want to part with though (isn’t that always the way!) such as Photoshop CS3, Dreamweaver CS3, Flash CS3 and World of Warcraft. However at one point or another I have had them all running under wine so with a bit of patience should be no problems there.

Anyway thanks and I’ll just wait for 11.3 now then! :slight_smile:

I too hope it goes smoothly but if works required I’m sure it will be worth it! I love the look and feel of openSUSE and have a spare ATi 4650 to test it with if things take a turn for the worse :slight_smile:
