After booting OpenSuse I get the following message " Message from syslogd@linux-ye0n at Dec 11 09:56:32… Kernel:[50.729310] Disabling IRQ #19" after this pops up I have a very jerky mouse. First of all are the two related? How do I fix it?
This is a hardware issue and may be due to some BIOS setting. You need to tell us more about your computer as in Brand and Model, what version of openSUSE are you using and what Desktop and version did you load? Do you also have Windows loaded and what version is it if you do? How long has openSUSE been installed and has this problem existed from the start? Not knowing any more than I do, I would go into your PC BIOS setup and disable the setting that says you are using a PNP (Plug and Play) operating system and force the BIOS to keep hardware on separate IRQ’s. Further, thi9s problem can occur when installing new hardware for the first time.
Thank You,
First of all I apologize for not replying sooner, I want to thank you for your reply. By following your advice “Disable Plug and Play” in the Bios did the trick. So thanks a million!

Happy to hear the tip to disable PNP in your BIOS was the advice that you needed. It will soon be four months since your last message, but it is better late than never. Good luck and let us know if you need any other assistance.
Thank You,
