Dear putztzu/OmniscientPenguin, since I can not modify an existing post, I have to reply again: I tested your scripts with a few computers running OpenSUSE 13.2 and Tumbleweed. I installed NetBeans for some programming stuff. I can see no problems, but my “testing” is just routine stuff. I am able to access web pages where only original Oracle Java works with the web browser plugin and Web Start, and the programming tools works also.

That’s why I’m doing the code verification.
If that’s all you did, then it’s not a complete install, there is a lot more that needs to be done to get the whole JDK properly installed… If the parts of the JDK you need are working, fine… but not everything will work.
In any case, maybe this will make me do the work to review and complete the required work to complete properly.
