Issues with WiFI and PC freezes (KDE)

I have some issues with a fresh installation of Leap 15 (KDE) on a quite recent Panasonic SZ6 notebook, Kaby Lake based.

WiFi connection behaves weird. I get a message that it had “disconnected” - “no credentials were provided”. Shortly after that, KWallet appears and ask for my password. After that WiFi connects.
That’s already bad, but sometimes it won’t connect at all. If I go to networks an try to manually connect to the respective WiFi network, it won’t do anything. I click on the network, it seems to acknowledge the “click” but then does nothing. A reboot sometimes helps but the other day I had to delete the network and enter the WiFi password again. It’s an Intel Wireless 8265.

The PC freezes sometimes. Especially when running Firefox. The mouse curses can be moved, but nothing can be clicked on the desktop. It’s not the swap file, I have already checked that. It seems to have something to do with Firefox as it happens when browsing the web.

A third minor issue is with the Windows button. Sometimes it stops working and I can only use Alt-F1. A logout fixes that.

Any help on how to diagnose the problem would be nice. Especially the freeze issue and WiFi problem are quite annoying.

Three different issues. Please post each issue in its own thread with a suitable title.
