Issues with entering LUKS password

I recently installed Tumbleweed on a Lenovo G50-30 laptop and I have problems with grub. When I try to decrypt my root partition, no matter if the password is correct or not, it would always then take me to the grub command line. After typing “exit” in the grub command line and booting to the hard drive from the BIOS, I can enter my password just fine and the system boots fine as well, but the problem appears again when I boot the system afterwards. Can someone help pls?

It isn’t clear what you are describing.

One possibility is that the system is initially using UEFI booting, and that fails. And then when you go through the BIOS it is using BIOS (or MBR) booting, which works. But I’m just guessing here.

Can you provide the output from the following commands (run them as root):

efibootmgr -v
fdisk -l

Use the “preformatted text” icon (or use CTRL-E) and then paste in the output.
