Issue loading /proc values from SYSCTL.CONF at boot time

Hi.

I have some problems loading

  1. net.netfilter.nf_conntrack_udp_timeout = …
  2. net.netfilter.nf_conntrack_tcp_timeout_established = …

ONLY at boot time. I get the following messages in boot.msg:

Setting current sysctl status from /etc/sysctl.conf
net.ipv4.icmp_echo_ignore_broadcasts = 1
net.ipv4.conf.all.rp_filter = 1
fs.inotify.max_user_watches = 65536
net.ipv4.conf.default.promote_secondaries = 1
net.ipv4.conf.all.promote_secondaries = 1
/proc/sys/net/netfilter/nf_conntrack_tcp_timeout_established: No such file or directory
/proc/sys/net/netfilter/nf_conntrack_udp_timeout: No such file or directory

BUT, when I log in to X, I can load those values with “sysctl -p”.

Any suggestions.

Thanks.

Add the following to /etc/modules
nf_conntrack
nf_conntrack_ipv4
