Is Yast becoming less friendly?

I already thought Yast’s software manager left a lot to be desired. But
it seems in the latest iteration in 11.1 has taken a few steps back. It
seems the 2ndary filter has been totally dropped. Now it’s only possible
to filter packages by primary repo / group / patterns.

Any special reason the secondary filter was dropped? Any way to bring
it back?

It’s there, just not as a secondary filter to “Search” as the primary filter.
