Is this an indication of bad memory?

Can someone tell me what the following means

hard to say…i can’t answer your question…but, while are waiting on
someone who might can you could run memcheck…it is on most every
openSUSE install disk i’ve seen in the last several years…

it is usually labeled “Memory Test”, just boot from the install disk
and select it on the first boot screen…

of course, it really needs to run some hours (overnight is best)…
but, memtest is a good way to eliminate bad RAM from the question…

another way is to provide info to those here who might have another
answer they give you before telling you to run memtest to confirm
their suspicions…

info, like:

when do you see those kernel problems?
is it when one particular program is running?
is it from a VM?
what kind of hardware?
are you over clocking? did it throw the same errors when running default?
are you running the latest patched kernel?
what OS and version are you running?
are there any other indications of a problem?
did this ‘just start’ or has it been that way from initial install?
have you recently added RAM or any other hardware?
is it summer where you are, could this be part of a heat pronblem?
etc etc etc etc etc etc
